01 Mission

Back to the roots – reimagined for today: Pioté brings together old craft tradition and bold new accents. The rediscovery of enamel, a fresh approach to colour and form, a new take on refined weaving techniques: jewellery for the next generation.

02 Store Opening

In the heart of Vienna, inside a stately baroque townhouse, the Pioté phoenix takes flight once more. Just steps from the Albertina, the Hofburg and St. Stephen's Cathedral, jewellery awaits – a statement for the third millennium.

HeritageSince 1814, Pioté has stood for clear personality. Big emotions, enduring values, boldness and joie de vivre. Expressive and unmistakable jewellery that speaks its own language, crafted by masters of the trade. Fully in keeping with family tradition.

In Vienna since 1814.
01 Enamel

Emmanuel Pioté's unique expertise: enamel jewellery. This technique was perfected in Limoges in the 18th century – full of brilliance, intricate, enduring in value. Here, a vintage treasure from Pioté & Köcherts workshop, mid-19th century.

02 History

Success and the right timing: in 1814, the French goldsmith Emmanuel Pioté moved from Limoges, France to Vienna and founded the House of Pioté & Köchert together with J.H. Köchert. Amid the Congress of Vienna, the company quickly earned an outstanding reputation.

03 A.E.Köchert

The House of A.E. Köchert, once k.u.k. Court and Chamber Jewellers, remains family-owned to this day. Wolfgang, Christoph and Florian Köchert now design jewellery in the sixth generation, in the Köchert style – at the flagship store on Neuer Markt in Vienna, designed by Ringstrasse architect Theophil Hansen and, more recently, also on Alter Markt in Salzburg.
